THIS IS HOW I DRAW THE LINE – STEPPING INTO A NEW CHAPTER

A few weeks ago, I received the following message from a fortune cookie, which I had intuitively chosen from among many:
Let the past be the past – now is the time for a new beginning.
I’m sitting here on the last day of January, filled with gratitude and joy for the events of the past days and weeks. It’s a wonderful feeling to realize that in the end, many things come together harmoniously – like in a successful Hollywood movie. As if individual puzzle pieces, previously scattered, slowly form a picture that is bigger and more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Only now do I see the bigger picture.
I could dwell on memories, on moments both positive and challenging. But I consciously choose to look ahead – full of energy and anticipation for everything that’s to come.
I set out without a perfect plan. With courage, curiosity, and the desire to realign myself. Along the way, I’ve learned that growth rarely follows a straight path, but consists of phases, changes in direction, and quiet pauses. That development often happens quietly – a thought, a moment, that suddenly comes together into something greater.
And from this steady, quiet movement, something new has now emerged. From the feeling that the time is ripe for the next step:
A new job.
A new chapter.
Finally, I can unfold my professional potential. Finally, pursue work I am passionate about. For a company that has convinced me completely – both professionally and personally. One that gives me space: for responsibility, for personal and professional growth, for ideas, initiative, and appreciation.
If I’ve learned one thing, it’s this: growth begins where we leave boundaries behind and recognize who we are and what matters to us.
And often, this process doesn’t happen loudly.
Not immediately.
But precisely then – perhaps all at once – when the time is right.
Today is a day that celebrates the end of a chapter and at the same time marks the beginning of something new. The year couldn’t have started better. I am ready, full of drive, and open to everything that comes.
May, I can hardly wait for you.
